Q1. Does Image Moments have a USB port for reading from digital camera or the computer? Will I be able to download pictures from PC directly onto the digital frame itself?

You can copy your photos from your computer onto a memory card (via a memory card reader or similar device) and have Image Moments playback the photos on the memory card.
In addition, you can organize your photos of different events and occasions into different folders. Then, on Image Moments you can use the File Library Mode to select specific folders to playback. You can directly insert into Image Moments memory cards of the following formats: CompactFlash I/II, MicroDrive, SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card, SD Card, Memory Stick, and MS PRO.
For MS Duo and MS PRO Duo, it is possible to insert these cards without the adapter provided by the memory card manufacturer, but it is advised that you use the adapter to prevent incorrect insertion.

Q21. What is the purpose of the Audio/Video ports on Image Moments?
These are audio and video input ports that let you connect another device to the frame via the A/V cables to playback the sound and video. For example, you can connect a camcorder device to Image Moments and playback the video on it.
Q22. My Image Moments shows only black and white images that keep scrolling. What should I do?
It seems like it is because device has been switched to a different video mode.
You may fix the display on your Image Moments by following these steps:
1) Remove all memory cards from Image Moments.
2) Turn on Image Moments. 3) Point the remote control towards Image Moments and press the STOP button in the lower right-hand corner. 4) If the screen display doesn't change, press the STOP button again until you see the screen return to its normal state. (You might need to press it for a few times and for about 10 seconds or so).
5) If you have successfully toggled the mode, there should be text that reads VGA at the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
6) Now try inserting your memory card to see if you can view the photos.
The reason why this happens is that if you inadvertently press the STOP button on the remote control when there are no memory cards inserted in Image Moments it will toggle the Image Moments video mode. The VGA mode is the correct video mode to use on Image Moments.
The other mode is used when you want to connect another device to the frame via the A/V cables to the A/V input ports to playback the sound and video on Image Moments.
Q23. I have trouble accessing the Preference screen. How should I do it?
You can access the Preference Page from File Library Mode:
1) Press the FILE button on the remote control to go to File Library.
2) Then press the SETUP button to access the Preference Page.
Q24. Some of my photos are not displaying properly on the Image Moments screen; specifically, there are distortions on the left margin and a series of parallel lines on the top left hand corner.
This issue occurs when the resolution of the JPEG file is lower than 640x480 (the resolution of the LCD screen).
You can avoid this distortion problem by either 1) taking photos in higher resolution, or
2) re-scale the photos to higher resolution via a photo editing software such as Photoshop.
As long as the resolution is above 640x480, the pictures will display properly.
