Q1. Which memory card formats are supported by Memory Card Gateway?

Memory Card Gateway directly reads from and writes to: CompactFlash I/II, MicroDrive, SmartMedia, MultiMedia Card, SD Card, Memory Stick, MS PRO, MS PRO Duo, and xD-Picture Card. It also supports miniSD, RS-MMC, and MS Duo with an adapter. ***This model does NOT support SDHC card.

Q2. How do the LED indicators work?

When Memory Card Gateway is connected to your computer and is powered on (via USB port), the power indicator will light up. When a memory card is correctly inserted, the corresponding LED indicator will light up to show the a connection has been made. While data is transferring, the LED indicator will be flashing.

Q3. Is Memory Card Gateway Mac compatible?

Yes, Memory Card Gateway is compatible with both PC and Mac.

Q4. Do I need to install driver?

There is no software driver installation required for Windows XP, Windows ME, and Mac OS 9.0 or higher.
For Windows 2000, Windows 98/SE, and Mac OS 8.6, you need to first install device driver from the Resource Disc before the computer can recognize Memory Card Gateway.

Q5. I do not see the picture icons for different memory card drives on my computer.

You need to install the Disk Monitor Utility from the included Resource Disk. This program will assign descriptive icons and labels for each memory card slot. (Windows only)
